All Program Coordinators:
- Serve as a member of the leadership team and collaborate with other coordinators & camp staff to ensure day-to-day camp operations are running smoothly
- Work with the Program Head to plan and execute camp schedules, daily activities, and special programming (excursions, evening activities, special days, etc).
- Get trained as a camp driver to help us with transportation needs as they come up
- Build healthy, appropriate relationships with campers and staff to help facilitate a fun summer!
- Must be 21+ at the start of contract
Operations Coordinator:
- Collaborate with the program team to plan and execute evening events, special days, and half-day, out-of-camp excursions.
- Brainstorm fun, silly, and creative ideas to instill magic into camp programming!
- Communicate agendas and responsibilities to other camp staff. Must be comfortable making announcements and delivering instructions to a large group of campers and staff
- Oversee clean up of special events and help the program team in organizing equipment storage
Activity Coordinator:
- Work closely with the Program Head to schedule daily activities
- Coordinate daily choice period offerings
- Collect activity preferences from campers, managing sign ups for daily activities, early risers, excursion days, and choice periods
Generalist Coordinator:
- Manage a team of 8-12 generalist and lifeguard counselors, as well as 4-6 junior counselors each session
- Coordinates generalist and junior counselor schedules, assuring cabins and activity areas have sufficient staffing coverage
- Oversee our camp waterfronts (Hoyts and Oxbow) by opening the waterfront, assuring safety requirements are met, assigning lifeguards during swim periods, and assuring proper equipment & weather guidelines are met.
